TYPE OF LEATHERS USED FOR SHOE MAKING

There are so many differnet type of leathers can be used for shoe making and they are all coming from animal which include Cow, Sheep, Pigs, Horses, Snakes, and Fish ....etc.
Cow Leather - With good elastic stretch performance, fine surface pores, and good toughness and strength
Sheep Leather - It is soft and elastic, and it is also a good upper for leather shoes production
Horsehide - The surface pores are fine, but the contractility is poor
Pig Skin - The pores are coarse, but the shrinkage is strong
Different leather has different characteristics and each articles can be used for different type of shoes to fit various purpose, by understand more will help consumers knowing what exactly they are buying and when to wear in certain circumstances.
